Spring mornings

Spring is not my favorite season, but I enjoy the sights, smells and sounds of it when it comes around.

Since it’s going to be in the 80s/90s this week in Central PA, I began taking Tanner for morning walks.  He’s so full of energy in the mornings and this is a great way to calm him down for the first part of the day.

Plus he gets to sniff each and every thing that he comes across.  His favorite snacks right now are dandelions and bees.

And trying to eat newspapers that he sees in other peoples’ driveways.

I love the smell of flowers in the spring, how colorful they make the landscape after a long, dreary winter.  I love seeing color everywhere I go; it just makes me really happy.

Poor Tanner was so worn out yesterday that he passed out chewing on his toy.  Poor pupperoni.

I end with a quote by Anne Bradstreet that is so true:

“If we had no winter,

the spring would not be so pleasant.”

What is your favorite part about spring?

Thanks for reading!
