So far living here in Pennsylvania has been a love/hate relationship (have I mentioned that before?) After days of unseasonably cool weather, Mother Nature decided to go from winter mode to summer mode overnight. For two days, we saw temps close to 90 degrees.
And my white legs made an appearance for those two days. I promise that they didn’t blind anyone.
That I know of.
So we decided to head out earlier in the day, before it got too hot, to one of our favorite state parks, Pine Grove Furnace State Park to hike an easy section of the Appalachian Trail with our pup, Tanner.
I hadn’t used our DSLR, a Nikon D7000 that we have named Odysessus, in quite a while. So I took a few shots of the scenery while we were there.
Tanner, of course, was having a blast. He loves being outdoors and posing for the camera.
We’ve been on about 20 miles of the AT so far in PA, and this section is really beautiful.
Especially during the winter!
I took a few photos while we were there, and this has to be my favorite shot that I’ve ever taken. I shall call it, “A Man & His Pup.”
Tanner posing by the Appalachian Trail sign. He looks like he’s having a good time.
Finally, we saw a huge group of turtles hanging out in the swamp on our way back to the car. I only managed to get one good shot of one of them.
