Chapman’s Food & Spirits Southern Pines, North Carolina

The Restaurant:

Chapman’s is a recently renovated restaurant located in the historic district of Southern Pines. The restaurant is broken up into three different rooms. Two of the rooms hold a variety of different sized tables while the third holds the bar. The entire restaurant is very well decorated. Some of the tables are made from a solid slab of wood. Overall the restaurant is very attractive although it can get a bit on the loud side.

The food:

We’ve been to Chapman’s twice so far. On our first trip I had the Open Faced Patty Melt and Ashley had the Tuna Lobster Salad. The patty melt was awesome, easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The fact that it was open faced came as a surprise (sometimes I skim read). My burger came with fries, and I can truthfully say they were the best fries I’ve ever had! Ashley enjoyed her salad although she felt it had a tad too much ginger for her tastes. On our second trip we had the Lobsta Fries and Chappy’s Beer Cheese with Warm Pretzels. Both of our appetizers were delicious!

Summary:

All of the food we’ve had so far has been extremely good! The service here has also been top notch. This restaurant has quickly become our favorite in the area! We will definitely continue to explore their menu and check out the special of the day! We also plan to check out some of their specialty drinks such as ‘Chappy’s Chiller’ which features Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Limoncello.
